The journey is always worthwhile when you set out with a heart full of dreams. The day begins with a delicious breakfast, providing the perfect energy boost to embark on this incredible adventure. We set off on our journey to the northern part of the majestic Callejón de Huaylas. Along the way, the charming villages of Anta, Marcará, and Carhuaz await us with their authentic Andean charm. In Carhuaz, we will stop at the traditional plaza to soak up the spirit of the place and, of course, try the famous natural ice creams made with pure fruit... a treat for the taste buds! The route continues with a visit to the historic Guitarreros Cave, a testament to the deepest roots of our region. Afterwards, we will arrive at the Campo Santo de Yungay, a place steeped in history and emotion that reminds us of the events of 1970. Our next destination is Huascarán National Park, where nature displays its majesty. There, the impressive Llanganuco Lagoon awaits us, with its characteristic turquoise green color that seems straight out of a dream. We walk through the serene quenual forests, a perfect moment to connect with the environment. We continue to the city of Caraz, where we can enjoy its most famous sweets, such as the delicious manjar blanco. This gastronomic experience promises to be unforgettable. To end the day, we stop at the picturesque village of Taricá, famous for its Huaracinas handicrafts.

Here we will have the opportunity to admire and purchase unique pieces that capture the essence of the local culture. We will enjoy a well-deserved lunch to recharge our batteries, and finally we will begin our return journey to Huaraz. After a day full of wonders, the city will welcome us back to rest and remember every moment we have experienced.

We set off for the imposing Nevado de Pastoruri. Along the way, we pass through beautiful villages that seem straight out of a fairy tale: the San Patricio grotto amazes us with its mysticism, while Ticapampa and Catac offer us a glimpse of life in the highlands.

The Patococha Lagoon appears like a mirror of serenity, and in the distance stands the queen of Andean flora, La Puya Raimondi, a marvel of nature worthy of admiration. We continue to Puma Pampa, where the sparkling waters offer us a unique spectacle, and we stop at the Pumashimin waterhole, a multicolored lagoon that seems to have a life of its own.

We also discover rock art on the rocks, a tangible connection to the ancestors who inhabited this land. Finally, after a short walk, we arrive at the majestic Nevado de Pastoruri.

The cold air awakens our senses, and the glacial formations take our breath away. We play like children in the snow, sliding down the natural slides formed by the ice. Every step and every laugh make this moment unforgettable. On the way back, we stop at Catac or Ticapampa to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
