It is famous for its thermal waters that flow from the mountains with medicinal and healing properties.

In Churín, there are several options for enjoying the benefits of the thermal waters, but four of the most notable are Viroc, Mamahuarmi, Juventud, and Tingo.
Mamahuarmi means “Mother Woman” in Quechua, a natural pool with a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. Mamahuarmi is rich in sulfur, calcium, iron, and magnesium, and helps improve the skin, bones, muscles, and circulatory system.
You can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. The Tingo thermal baths are another natural pool with a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The water is chlorinated and alkaline, and has anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, and antiseptic effects.

The Youth Thermal Baths are said to heal the body and soul. These baths are ideal for relieving stress, fatigue, respiratory conditions, and skin and hair problems. They have several pools and ponds. The Viroc thermal baths, which have healing and relaxing properties, spring from the depths of the earth and are credited with the ability to strengthen health.
