Itinerary

Begin your adventure with a transfer from the airport or hotel to the pier. From there, we will navigate the Nanay River until we reach the Amazon River by boat.

Fundo Pedrito
You will visit an animal farm, where you can interact with paiches, piranhas, and caimans, as well as admire the impressive Victoria Regia plant.

Volcanic trails
We will arrive at the lodge to enjoy a delicious lunch and check in. In the afternoon, we will explore the local botanical trails on a guided hike or canoe trip; our native guides will show you typical flora and their traditional uses.

Night excursion
In the evening, you will enjoy our cozy dinner followed by an exciting walk to observe tarantulas, cicadas, and other nocturnal animals under the Amazonian stars. You will also hear the songs of owls and “ayaymamas” and the sounds of nocturnal animals.

We will wake up very early (4:30 AM) to enjoy a unique sunrise over the Amazon River, observing typical birds while learning about their natural habitat.

Hike to the Avatar Viewpoint At a height of 25 meters, take in a breathtaking view of the jungle and get ready for extreme thrills on our CANOPY circuit! With 10 stations: zip line down 5 cables, cross 2 suspension bridges, swing on a pendulum, climb nets, and rappel down! (maximum weight allowed: 220 lbs).

Meet the Yaguas Visit this indigenous community (one of 23 native communities on the Amazon River) near our ecolodge and immerse yourself in their vibrant culture.

Enjoy their traditional songs, colorful dances, and ancestral hunting methods. Share candy and feel free to wear their traditional costumes; you will be an integral part of the cultural show!.

Explore the Neiser Reserve In this unique refuge for free-roaming animals, interact with playful monkeys waiting for your attention. Observe bright macaws, exotic parrots, relaxed sloths, and prehistoric “mata mata” turtles.

Hike to the “ceiba de la selva” Known by the indigenous people as Huimba, it is almost 500 years old and stands at an impressive height of up to 160 feet and 10 feet in diameter.

Finally, we will arrive at the lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to legends and stories based on Amazonian mythology told by the guides.

San Juan de Huachalado Village. You will explore tributaries of the Amazon River to San Juan de Huachalado; you will enjoy activities such as sport fishing or hiking to the black waters of the Yanayacu River.

Lupuma Tree. We will see the famous giant tree called Lupuma, find Tarzan vines along the way, and our guide will prepare lunch. Have lunch locally during your jungle tour while learning about local customs.

Visit to the Trapiche in San Juan de Huachalado. Here you can learn how typical local alcoholic beverages are made and taste them.

To finish, you can enjoy a delicious dinner and learn how to prepare local cocktails with our typical pisco, the national drink. You will be treated to a drink on the house.

Introduction to Medicinal Plants After breakfast, we will learn about medicinal plants used since ancient times, such as Cat's Claw and Ayahuasca, during an educational walk guided by local experts who know every natural secret.

The Ceiba Tree of the Jungle We will explore one of the oldest and most impressive trees called Ceiba (Huimba), which is almost 500 years old and stands at an impressive height of up to 160 feet with a diameter of 10 feet. The afternoon is free to relax inside the lodge surrounded by unique natural sounds that only this jungle can offer.

Fatima community Before leaving, we will visit a nearby community where we will learn about local customs, drinks, and ways of life.

Planting a tree We will actively participate in planting a tree as part of our Amazon reforestation program, sharing our experiences with each other. Check out and transfer via the Amazon River You will enjoy a delicious lunch, and then we will depart via the Amazon River to the city of Iquitos or directly to the airport.
